Emily Morris Media Avid

Hello,

a bit about me:

I graduated from the University of Indianapolis (UIndy) and majored in Communications with a concentration in Electronic Media in 2016. While at UIndy I joined our student-run television program, UIndyTV. I was in the Production Department, but also had experience within the Promotions Department. Further, I was a part of our student-run radio station, 88.7 WICR, The Diamond and joined the WICR Sales Department. I have had many amazing opportunities, such as interning at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Productions, working for the Indianapolis Indians Tribe TV crew, interning at 12 Stars Media, working part-time on the FOX59 and CBS4 Street Team, and traveling to Denmark, Iceland, and London to film the award-winning and Emmy nominated documentary, "Finding Hygge".

Since graduating, I've had the opportunity to work as a Junior Video Specialist at 12 Stars Media, where I supported the rest of the Production Team by assisting on video shoots during productions, as well as assisting with editing, animating in post-production, and offering sound design. I worked at FOX59 and CBS4 as the News Topical Producer in the Creative Services and News Department. I also worked at Orbis Education as a Multimedia Videographer/Editor, before transferring to my current position as Video Editor at Grand Canyon Education. I'm also the owner of Stork Creations, a birth videography and photography business in the Indianapolis area.
